Eating Out – Restaurants
We all have to eat, and no one wants to cook on their holiday even if they have a kitchen in their hotel or apartment. Yes, some restaurants can be very expensive, especially the ones in the city centre or next to the sea. You must know that some places offer what’s called Menu Del Día or Menu of the Day which consists of a 3-course dinner and a drink for around €10-€15, now that’s a bargain! Places in San Antonio that offer this deal are David Pizzeria, Big World and Ling Nam. Make sure to visit there if you’re ever in the area!
Drinking – Bars & Clubs
Drinking in nightclubs is probably one of the most expensive activities on the island, in most clubs the average price for a vodka and cola for example, is around €18-€20, a beer €10-€12 and a bottle of water between €6-€12. If you going sober to the club then prepare for a huge bill! However, it doesn’t have go be that way, our recommendation is to pre-drink in bars a couple of hours before hitting the club. This is a great way to start off the night and even meet some likeminded people. There are even some good deals where you pay a bit more for the club ticket and get 1 hour of open-bar in a nearby bar. Or even better, get a bottle or some beers, a speaker and head over to the beach, sometimes those kinds of evenings turn out the be the most memorable!

Remember to always buy your tickets in advance, online or from the street vendors. On the door the tickets are always the most expensive and you need to queue in a separate line.
